The Pavo20 is compatible with a range of HD VTX options. The DJI O3 Air Unit delivers up to 1080P resolution with dual-band transmission for enhanced signal stability. Pavo20 Frame Kit

Precise Security For HD VTX

The camera side panel, combined with a 4-point fixation hole design, provides strong protection for the lens while allowing easy installation of ND filters, ensuring the lens remains secure without angle shifts after intense flights. The integrated injection molding with an insert copper nut design simplifies installation by removing the need to adjust screw tightness. Additionally, the open-ended battery strap slot fits a variety of batteries*, and side-limitation slots keep the battery firmly in place, preventing any movement during flight.

The integrated injection molding HD VTX mounting bracket features an insert copper nut for easy installation and uses half-thread screws to eliminate the need for adjusting screw tightness. This design improves vibration resistance, ensuring stable and smooth HD images. It is also compatible with the Pavo Pico.

Flight Controller

The F4 2-3S 20A AIO FC V1 includes an ESC with a peak current of 25A, ensuring reliable FC performance even if the motor stalls. It features a 9V 2A BEC power supply to maintain stable operation of the DJI O3 HD VTX during low battery voltage. The DJI O3 6-pin PMU allows easy connection to the HD VTX without soldering. Additional features include a 16MB black box and support for GPS, external receivers, and other devices. The updated solder pad layout and USB connector simplify installation and maintenance.

Pavo Series COB LED Strip

The Pavo Series COB LED Strip is a 5V-powered strip measuring 560 mm by 4 mm, designed to improve visibility and help pilots easily track the drone during night flights or low-light conditions, enhancing safety. It mounts securely on the frame’s whoop duct, adding distinctive lighting effects and a striking look. Available in ice blue, white, green, or red, you can also combine colors to customize and enhance your flying experience while maintaining safety.

ND Filter for DJI O3 Camera

The BETAFPV ND Filter for DJI O3 Camera is designed specifically for the Pavo20 and Pavo Pico Brushless Whoop Quadcopters. The DJI O3 Air Unit ND Filters are made for the DJI O3 Air Unit and help reduce the light entering the camera lens. This allows for slower shutter speeds or wider apertures during flight. HD Digital VTX System

The Pavo Pico is compatible with a variety of HD VTX options. Both the DJI O3 and Walksnail Avatar Pro Kit support HD digital VTX up to 1080P, utilizing dual-band transmission technology for improved signal stability. The Vista Kit offers digital signal transmission for HD video up to 720P, delivering low latency and excellent image quality. Its compact and lightweight design makes it ideal for small drones and compatible with a range of remote controls and monitors. The custom HD VTX mounting bracket features a split design for easy DIY installation, allowing pilots to explore more options while maintaining high-definition image quality.

ND Filter for DJI O3 Camera

The BETAFPV ND Filter for DJI O3 Camera is specially made for the Pavo Pico Brushless Whoop Quadcopter. The DJI O3 Air Unit ND Filters are designed for the DJI O3 Air Unit and help reduce the light entering the camera lens. This allows you to use slower shutter speeds or wider apertures during flight. These lightweight filters are made from high-quality optical materials to ensure clear image quality and are simple to install on your drone.

Pavo Pico Frame Kit

The HD VTX mounting bracket is crafted from ultra-light PP material to enhance its durability. The antenna fixing slot is integrated with the frame to minimize the risk of damage, while the camera’s installation height has been lowered and includes a protective printed part that limits its movement to within 30°. An O3 filter can also be added to protect the lens and improve image quality.

A unique rubber damper vibration-damping system, used alongside GyroFlow stabilization software, significantly boosts safety and delivers smooth, HD video. When tightening the die-cast screws, avoid over-tightening to allow the rubber dampers to absorb vibrations effectively and prevent jello in your footage.

And The whoop quadcopter package includes the DJI O3 HD Digital VTX Antenna Mount.

DJI O3 Vibration Problem

To tackle the challenge of vibration on many whoop drones, the  DJI O3 unit is mounted on a carbon fiber plate with 4 rubber dampers.This innovative design ensures peak performance and perfect stability.

Troubleshooting:

For better video quality when using the DJI O3 HD VTX, disable its electronic stabilization and rely on GyroFlow stabilization software instead.

When securing the HD VTX bracket with M1.4*10 screws, make sure the nut lightly contacts the shock-absorbing ball.

The Jello effect can happen during the installation described above for two reasons:

• The VTX bracket may become over-tightened if the screw compresses the rubber damper completely. To prevent this, tighten the screw only until it lightly contacts the shock-absorbing ball, allowing some movement between the ball and bracket.

• If the frame or quadcopter blades are significantly deformed, consider replacing them to reduce excessive vibrations.

Please use acetate tape to secure the motor wires, preventing them from hanging down and interfering with the propeller’s rotation.

Upgrade Low Profile Design

Based on feedback from the BETA TEST, we reduced the height of the HD VTX mounting bracket and whoop duct from 60.6mm to 51.5mm, along with adjustments to the battery compartment, resulting in a sleeker, lower-profile cinewhoop design.

Pilots have the option to personalize their cinewhoop using DIY accessories like battery straps or printable parts, making it compatible with different battery sizes. This flexibility allows pilots to customize and improve their cinewhoop according to their individual needs and preferences. The steps are as follows:

Flight Controller

The FC has been upgraded from the F4 1S 12A AIO FC V3 to the F4 2-3S 20A AIO FC V1. This new FC includes an ESC with a peak current capacity of 35A, ensuring stable flight controller performance even if the motor stalls. A 9V 2A BEC power supply is added to maintain stable operation of the DJI O3 HD VTX during low battery voltage. It also features a DJI O3 6-pin PMU for easy HD VTX connection without soldering. Additional capabilities include a 16MB black box and support for GPS, external receivers, and other devices. The updated solder pad layout and USB connector simplify installation and maintenance.

We also have extended the USB port to the end for easier parameter adjustment and wiring. And a new DJI O3 6-pin PMU has been added for convenient installation and maintenance.

Power system

The 1102 14000kv motor brings stronger power and lower noise, delivering abundant thrust and impressive speed that enable effortless execution of aerial maneuvers. Paired with the high-performance Gemfan 45mm propeller, this power system achieves superb balance, ensuring powerful lift and stable flight, while also providing precise and responsive control. The combination of these power systems makes it an excellent choice for Pavo Pico, allowing pilots to easily accomplish filming tasks.

Carbon Fiber VTX Adapter

We found that the installation dimensions of the Vista and Avatar HD Pro digital VTX modules closely match those of the O3 digital VTX. Thus, Installing a carbon plate with mounting holes that measure 20x20mm is sufficient to mount both digital VTXs. Install quickly and effortlessly, while meeting pilots' various DIY needs, and exploring more possibilities for flying.
